Colonial Downs 7-3-2013 Selections - Races 1,4,5,7

Pre Scratches.  I'm not sure if I will be able to update for scratches.
 
Card Notes-
IMPORTANT:  I handicapped these races assuming they stay on the turf.  If these races come "off the turf" do not use these selections.

My Race Rating System-
I always give you 5 picks in each race to help you fill out your exotic bets.  In some races I may not use all 5 in my bets.  The A horse is ALWAYS my selected winner.  If no suggested plays are listed then I would not consider betting the race.  See the key below for how I label the races.

Weak - Poor races to invest in.  Usually too wide open.  Winner possible outside of my top 5.
Action - Some clarity in the race.  Possible use in Multirace or small Exacta bet.  Winner likely in top 4 or 5.
Play - Lots of clarity in the race.  Good Exacta or Trifecta play.  Can usually get by with A or B horse in the Multi Race bets.
Prime - Excellent betting race or multirace single.  Single in Exacta, Trifecta or Multi Race bets

A - #6 Harbor Fox (6-1) - class drops from open 10k, hoping Karamanos carry nurse a lead all the way
B - #9 Magical Merry (9/5) - takes a pretty big class drop with good beyers, logical choice
C - #11 Wild Heir Cat (4-1) - has never run on turf, but pedigree suggest he'll like it, strong jockey/trainer combo
D - #7 Kalahari Queen (6-1)
E - #4 Good's Secret (15-1)

Race 4 - 5-1/2f TURF Clm - Action+
A - #3 Pioneer Zephyr (5/2) - class drop, beyers fit
B - #9 Sally Oh Sally (2-1) - has run well at Cnl and distance, should get a good trip
C - #7 Bridge Night (8-1) - appears to be the main speed, though others could challange
D - #6 Cee's Fast (8-1)
E - #8 Darn Proud (6-1)

Race 5 - 5-1/2f INNER TURF Md Clm - Play
A - #2 Citizen Chris (4-1) - was blocked badly last out, the rallied once clear, serious upset chance
B - #4 Arkle Park (7/5) - class drops from MSW, should be close to pace with good trip
C - #6 Vestry (8-1) - class drop, good pedigree, has run some decent races at Cnl
D - #3 Ascendancy (7/2) - has never run on turf, but trainer gives some confidence to ability
E - #1 Marriage Fever (9/2)

A - #1 Sea Bubble (9/5) - drops from MSW 40K, bred well, presence of Russell adds confidence
B - #3 Lemon Cookie (5/2) - ran a good second last out, plenty of room for improvment
C - #7 Country Sunshing (7/2) - rallied for 3rd last out while 5 wide
D - #5 Ebony Wings (6-1)
E - #6 Hidetheblackgold (12-1)
